Amherst Town Manager Paul Bockelman will be at the Black Sheep Deli and Bakery on Friday, April 14th from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. He will be enjoying his usual “cuppa Joe” … and invites anyone to come and chat.
Bockelman will be joined this week by Amherst Police Chief Scott Livingstone.
“I wanted to be more in the community, and more easily accessible to people so I can listen to concerns, compliments, and, yes, complaints,” Bockelman said. “But I also would love it if people just stopped by to say “Hi” and tell me how they are doing!”
The “Cuppa Joe with Paul” coffees will be a regular event, and will rotate around the town. Each time, Bockelman will be joined by a different town department head or official.
Town officials will also be holding two “Town Hall Roadshow” events on April 13th at Crocker Farm School and April 19th at the UMass Police Department community room at 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. These events are intended to make it easy for residents to learn more about what’s going on in the Town in one evening.
